One Field Trip

One thing I like about my degree, geography, is a fields trips. My favorite field trip at the moment is the first field trip of geology.  In that trip we went to “Cajon del Maipo”, this is a basin of the Maipo river. We, the classmates of geology, went with the teacher Rodrigo and assistant Misael, they are very good teaching and really funnies.

We gathered at the university early and went to Cajon, when we arrived nearly to “San Jose de Maipo” doing the first stop for looked the rocks formations and the river terraces where is the town San Jose de Maipo. We were doing a lot of stops, but my favorite was the stop for lunch because had been snowing and in this moment had already a layer of snow. I whit my friends eat fasted and went to play whit the other classmates, we were doing a war of snow, only Sebastian didn’t play whit us, he did three perfects pyramids with snow, then we retoured to the buses for continuo the field trip.

The next stop was in Lo Valdés for look a fantastic rock formations but infuriately for the course is all overcast for the snow, but I was happy because I love the snow. When the Teacher start to talk started to snow whit a lot of wine, we felt frozen at that moment. I only wanted drink a cup of tea and we returned to the bus a friend have tea we share cookies and chocolate.

That was a good field trip

  1. Hahaha my snow pyramids are the only masterpiece I have ever done, though the snowball war was a temptation to play.
